PC Mark Mylow has fallen big time for Julie. He's not waiting around anymore either -- it's time to pop the question. Will he or won't he? It's probably disaster either way. Poor guy.
The Doc meets up with Danny a few times in this episode. Of course none of them good situations, but one leading to an eventual awakening for one of them. But will it be for Danny, the Doc... or Louisa?
A possible engagement, a "surprise" baby on the way, the Doc punching a hole in Danny's chest, annoying parents... and a talent show with Bert dressed up as "Gino" the ventriloquist....

Yes, it's true. The fun never ends in Portwenn and, yes, we all want to move there.

He's a little behind the scene information on Clare Bloom who portraid Martin's mother Margaret. My business partner who is a camera man here in Hollywood worked with Clare Bloom on a movie called "Kalamazoo"?. He said she was fantastic to work with!
DeleteCan you imagine your own mother telling you that raising you was a waste of time? Doc was crushed as any of us would be on hearing such a thing. He was so despondent he couldn’t even see to his patient and walked out the door. Of course, as timing would have it, Louisa shows up at the wrong time and says the wrong thing. The doc, having no filter for what comes out of his mouth, takes his feelings out on her. And later, Roger unknowingly makes up cringe again when he says, “You don’t know what true love is until you have a baby, ask any parent.” Surely, that made the doc feel blue all over again. You really feel for the Doc in this one.
